Chef Robotics is on a mission to accelerate the advent of
intelligent machines in the physical world. As the rise of LLMs
like ChatGPT has shown, AI has the potential to drive immense

physical world, given industries like manufacturing, food, and
transportation represent 90% of global GDP. We're starting with
food, with a goal to put an intelligent robot in every commercial
kitchen in the world. We have signed multiple multi-year contracts
with various large food companies and we are growing fast. We're
backed by investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA
and Promus Ventures. We have a great team, where you will be
surrounded by talented engineers and tech leaders from companies
like Cruise, Zoox, Google, Verb Surgical, Tesla, Nuro, Vicarious,
Amazon Robotics, Strateos, Built Robotics, Facebook, Plenty, Yelp,
and Microsoft.You will:
- Sell Chef's Robotics as a Service product to enterprise
customers in the food production space.
- Do end to end sales from initial reach out to onsite customer
site visits to contract negotiation to legal closing.
- Sell to Director, VP, and C-Suite levels.
- Close quarter of a million to million dollar contracts.
- Research, determine, and implement the appropriate sales
strategy for Chef Robotics.
- Develop and foster long-term relationships with customers and
partners.
- Drive aggressive YoY growth through developing models capable
of supporting and sustaining high double-digit revenue growth.
- Help with marketing efforts as needed like trade shows and
webinars.
- Help build world-class Sales team by hiring, training and
developing the best and right professionals.You have:
- BS, MS or PhD in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
- Experience with long enterprise cycles, structuring enterprise
SaaS and hardware sales contracts.
- Experience as a people manager and have managed 10+ people
teams.
- Proven success building a Sales team and establishing
targets/metrics with a high business acumen.
- Sold robotics and automation products or have been the buyer of
automation equipment into manufacturing companies.You are
(Optional):
- Experienced with early start-ups or the food and beverage
industry.
- Able to be onsite at the SF Chef Robotics office.
- Excited about long sale cycles with higher customer spend and
budget.
- Excited about fostering long-term customer relationships.Note
that for this role, if you're in the bay area, this is 100% onsite;
if you're in a different territory in the US, it is remote.Equal
