of everything we do.Job Description Summary:PayPal seeks a dynamic
leader for a pivotal role within the newly established Business
Data Products & Solutions team. This role will involve partnering
with key stakeholders across the Enterprise Services business to
deliver on the promise and opportunity of PayPal's vast data asset.
This person will liaise between technical contacts managing
foundational data products and capabilities and the internal
business teams looking to leverage them for solutions that will
enrich our end customers' experience.Job Description:Objectives
- Alignment with Business Goals: Ensure that foundational data
products and solutions are designed and delivered in accordance
with the business's strategic objectives and priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business
stakeholders to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and
prioritize initiatives accordingly.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure adherence to best practices
and standards for the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the
data used in data products and solutions.
- Innovation: Continuously explore and leverage new technologies,
tools, and methodologies to enhance data products and deliver
additional value to the business.Responsibilities
- Run continuous discovery sessions with business partners to
identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities to monetize or
commercialize PayPal data assets aligned with business
strategy.
- Partner with the Enterprise Services organization to understand
key revenue growth opportunities and ways that data can unlock or
unblock them.
- Own the creation of requirements for Data Product and
Engineering teams based on discovery conversations with key
stakeholders.
- Define growth targets in tandem with internal customers and
proactively monitor performance versus projections.
- Communicate plans with objectives, target outcomes, and
critical results to all audiences.
- Partner with Data Governance, Privacy, and Compliance teams to
ensure our products and solutions are within regulatory
boundaries.Skills
- 7 - 10 years of experience in Product Management, Sales
Engineering, or Data Solutions Development.
- Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, influencing,
and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels of a highly matrixed
organization and across multiple domains.
- Enjoy learning new skills and adapting to changes in your
environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a
large, diverse set of to-dos.
- Have a strong execution bias and a deep passion for solving
internal and external customer problems.
- Self-starter who doesn't hesitate to proactively approach
situations to learn fast.
- A 'can do' spirit combined with high energy and a positive
